The results are in and we've got 3 new teams of club champions in the mixed division,
plus the 1st ever club champion in the newly added 6.0 division. The action started off right away on Saturday with the
three 6.0 teams competing in a round robin format. Jim & Pat Brown narrowly edged out Kathleen Chafee & Mike Goza with a 6-4, 6-4
win in the morning match and then clinched the title with a 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 victory over Dale Crabtree & Rachel Rose.

On Sunday, the 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0 teams duked it out for the titles. In the 7.0 bracket Patti May & Francis Crusit were knocked out
by their USTA teammate Rosemary Brown and her partner Jay Hoyer by a score of 7-5, 6-3.
In the closest final of the day, the husband and wife team of Allen & Barbara Uzell took on Sandy Harrington and Keith
Babcock. This match went the distance for a final nailbiter of 7-6, 5-7, 7-6 (10-8) in the Uzell's favor. |
And last, but definitely not least, in the 9.0 bracket Martin Dunlap & Melanie Pizzoli defeated Mark Murphey & Tammy Chan
by a narrow 7-5, 6-3 victory.
